Ryan began his drum corps marching career with Esperanza drum and bugle corps in 2005 - 2006 as section leader followed by Carolina Crown in 2007 where he was also section leader. After aging out from DCI Ryan became the Tenor Tech for the Madison Scouts Drum And Bugle Corps 2008- 2009 Followed by the 2010 season with the Open Class Champion Blue Devils B Corps.  Ryan joined Lee Beddis’ team at Carolina Crown in 2011 as tenor tech and proved to be an instant success.

Winter months have also been an important part of Ryan’s career. He performed with Pulse Percussion as a charter member in 2005 and then with the Riverside Community College Winter Percussion Ensemble from 2006 - 2009.

Anderson has been working with WGI Gold Medalists Pulse Percussion since 2009. He also works with Chino Hills High School in Chino Hills, CA. Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, CA. Townsend Junior High School, Chino Hills CA. Etiwanda High school, in Etiwanda  CA. (Winter Drum line Drill Design). 

As well as instructing and designing, Ryan still continues to perform with Blue Devils Entertainment , Ninner Noise, and Clippercussion.
