Matt Wisley graduated Summa Cum-Laude from Indiana State University in 2006 with degrees in Music Education and Music Performance on flute. While at ISU, Matt was the winner of the Paul W. Hagen Concerto Prize and Composition Competition, and was chosen to perform with the World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensemble’s International Youth Wind Orchestra in Sweden. He also represented ISU’s music department in China as a student ambassador to the Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

In 2002, in order to fulfill a nagging desire to march with a drum corps, Matt took up the baritone to march with the Glassmen for his age-out year.

For the past 9 years, Matt has been a marching band instructor for many high school groups throughout central and southern Indiana. He served as Director of Bands at Owen Valley High School in Spencer, Indiana from 2006 to 2008. He currently works as an instructor for the Edgewood High School Band in Ellettsville, Indiana and teaches private lessons at Center Grove Community Schools in Greenwood, Indiana.
