Joshua is currently residing in Carmel, Indiana where he has taught the Carmel High School Marching Greyhounds for the past four years. During his time at Carmel High School the color guard has managed to capture an Open Class World Championship in 2007 as well as just recently placing fourth in the Scholastic World Class Finals this past winter.

Joshua got his first start teaching Drum and Bugle Corps with Spirit during the summer of 2005. After several great seasons with Spirit, he decided to take up a position with Carolina Crown and worked there since.

During his marching career Joshua managed to win a WGI Independent World Championship with the Pride of Cincinnati in 2005, as well as marching the 2003 Pride cast. He got his start in winter guard marching Carolina Crown's winter guard in 2000, finishing in 2002.

Joshua marched the Carolina Crown from 2001- 2004.
