Alex is currently a student at The Ohio State University completing his degree in Music Education. Alex has been playing the trombone for over 12 years and frequently performs throughout the Central Ohio region. He has been a member of the university’s top ensembles including: Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and has 4 years experience in The Ohio State University Marching Band, serving 2 years as squad leader.

Alex currently serves as the Low Brass Instructor at Teays Valley High School where he gives private lessons, leads group sectionals and works with the concert bands throughout the school year.

Alex marched euphonium in Southwind from 2003-2005 and lead baritone with the Madison Scouts from 2006-2008. After aging out, Alex served as the low brass intern with the corps for the 2009 season.
