Adam Dalton is a native of Virginia where he attended James Madison University and earned a Bachelors of Music in Music Education. While there, Mr. Dalton performed in every ensemble including the Marching Royal Dukes and the Wind Ensemble. After graduating, he moved to Atlanta, GA where he taught both high school and elementary school band for four years. He then accepted a graduate position at The University of Alabama where he received his Master’s of Arts in Music Education. Adam has conducted numerous ensembles and been a guest clinician at several schools throughout the southeast.
Mr. Dalton has performed in the color guard with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps for three years earning two world championships and a gold medal in individual and ensemble. He has also marched in various independent winter guards consistently making finals at Winter Guard International. His color guard teaching experience includes the World Champion Phantom Regiment and The Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, as well as numerous winter guards around the southeast such as CrownGUARD and The University of Alabama Alta Marea. He is in constant demand as a clinician and choreographer throughout the country.
Mr. Dalton is currently completing his doctoral studies at The University of Alabama in Wind Conducting and is a University Bands Graduate Teaching Assistant.
