Luke has been involved in the color guard activity as an instructor, designer, choreographer, and technician for over 10 years.  He most recently served as the color guard caption head for the Blue Stars from 2003-2007.

In his home state of Indiana, Luke has worked with various guard programs including; Homestead H.S., Elkhart Central H.S., Concordia Lutheran H.S., DeKalb H.S. and Snider H.S.

Luke marched in DCI world champions the Cavaliers from 1999-2001. During the academic school year he works in elementary special education.
