2008 Milestones - November through June
Because of the hard efforts of over 200 active volunteers, the new Madison Scouts Volunteer Program is a huge success. What began as only ideas in August 2007 became a reality of success in only a few months. I am extremely grateful for everyone's trust while the new program was developed.
The process of change is incredibly scary for anyone, so your patience while we have grown has been greatly appreciated. More development of the Program is required and plans for the 2009 season have already begun. At the last meeting of the Board of Directors, I took the opportunity to share the great news of our efforts with the other Board members. They were overwhelmed and gave a great round of applause for all our volunteers and the results of the new Madison Scouts Volunteer Program.
Once again, the success of this Program is only possible because of the good people who stepped up to the challenge in so many areas. Below, I have listed a majority of the milestones we have achieved as a group since November.
Thanks,
MILESTONES
